A: Each and every trophy is different. Our pricing depends on the size of the trophy, any necessary repairs or modifications that need to be made and the quantity of replicas to be purchased.
Q: Who keeps the mold of the specimen replicated?
A: Antler and Horn Replicas maintains possession of all molds that we create. We store the mold for six months, after which time we destroy the mold unless arrangements are made by the trophy owner.
Q: How do I know that you will not make unauthorized replicas of my trophy?
A: When a customer orders a replica of their trophy, a contract is signed stating that Antler and Horn Replicas is contract bound to not produce any unauthorized replicas. Only the number of replicas commissioned will be produced unless authorized in writing by the the owner of the trophy.
Q: Are you able to do antler or horn repair?
A: In addition to various types of antler or horn repair, we are also able to modify the resulting replica produced; adding and removing tines, increasing width and many more options. We are only limited by your imagination.
Q: What type of material do you make your replicas out of?
A: Our replicas are made out of a high strength polymer, that allows us to cast a strong replica, with good weight and a small degree of flexibility to prevent damage to the replica.
Q: What kind of turn around time do you have?
A: Turn around times can be affected by several factors including repairs and modifications, and the quantity of replicas commissioned. We are able to give you an accurate turn around time when we quote the price for your trophy.
Q: If I purchase more than one replica do I get a discount?
A: The most expensive replica is the first one. The bulk of the replica price is in the creation of the mold. Once a mold is produced we are able to make additional replicas at a lower price.
Q: Why would I want a replica of my trophy?
A: There are may reasons to have a replica made of your trophy. Some of our customers like to have copies made for their home or office so that they can display their trophy at both locations. Many ranches like to have replicas made for their lodge or for marketing purposes. And some customers like to have a replica made so that they can have both shoulder and European (skull intact) mounts made.
